In an effort to assure Congress does not act stupidly Matt has declared his candidacy for Ohio’s 21st Congressional district. He will work with Congress to protect the Constitution. This protection will be via a two pronged attach: (1) all new legislation will include the Constitutional clause of authorization, and, (2) retroactive legislation will be assigned Constitutional clauses of authorization. Retroactive bills not meeting Constitutional guidelines will be modified or moved to the appropriate level (e.g. State). In addition, Matt will work with the State Legislature to assure they have the tools and representation to work in accordance with the tenth amendment to the Constitution. He will not accept new taxpayer money in the form of Federal grants and will work with the State Legislature to return unused funds that have already been accepted.
